Google Maps for Android Auto is taking a new approach when it comes to saving your parking location when you arrive at your destination. Until now, it took a few taps to remember where we parked, but now Google is making this feature smarter.
Android Auto can save your parking location to Google Maps upon arrival
In the latest versions of Google Maps for Android Auto, the Mountain View giant has added a new switch that allows you to quickly save your parking location when you arrive at your destination.
By simply touching the “save parking position” switch that appears once you reach your destination, you can memorize where you leave your car. With a single action the information will be saved in your account and you will also see a reminder the next day.
At the moment it is not clear whether the option to save the parking location is also offered for any movements after arriving at the destination, for example if you park near the destination.
