The Apple iPhone 17 smartphone is likely to be introduced in 2025 but leaks around the smartphones have already started to pour in.
The latest one suggests that the higher-end iPhone 17 Pro Max model will ship with an upgraded Telephoto lens. Haitong International Securities’ Jeff Pu wrote in a research note that the iPhone 17 Pro Max could sport a 48MP Telephoto lens.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max To Get 48MP Telephoto Lens
Apple is expected to bring a higher camera resolution with Phone 17 Pro Max, which will be available in the US starting in early 2024.
However, the research note (via MacRumors) does not reveal details on how the 48MP Telephoto lens will be used with the Vision Pro headset.
The current-generation iPhone 15 Pro models feature a 12MP Telephoto lens at the back, in addition to a 48MP primary camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. However, it looks like we could see a bump in the camera specifications on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, expected to launch in 2025.
