The iPhone smartphone maker is looking to add one more device to its iPhone SE lineup – iPhone SE 4. The company is gearing up to introduce its new iPhone 15 series smartphones in the third week of September. As per a tip received to 9to5Mac, employees of various mobile carriers are instructed not to take leave on September 13.
Recently the developers have spotted the iPhone 15 models in tvOS 17 beta codes. The developer found iPhone 14,1, iPhone 14,9, iPhone15,4, iPhone15,5, iPhone16,1, iPhone16,2 identifiers in the source code. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 identifiers relate to the upcoming iPhone 15 series smartphones.
The developer adds that the iPhone 14,1 and iPhone 14,9 identifiers relate to iPhone SE and refreshed iPhone 13 mini with USB Type-C ports.
Apple iPhone SE 4 Details Leaked
According to the X (Twitter) tipster “Unknownz21”, the iPhone SE 4 will be a derivative of the iPhone 14. A well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo confirmed that Apple will continue to equip the device with a 6.1-inch OLED display from BOE. However, the iPhone SE 4 will launch with a USB Type-C port.

Apple will also be looking to remove the Touch ID on its fourth-generation iPhone SE 4 smartphone to make way for Face ID. Meanwhile, it will also get the new Action button.
As per the leaked specifications, the upcoming iPhone SE is also tipped to equip with thin bezels. Apple will likely retain the 60Hz LTPO display and old-school notch with the upcoming SE 4.
