According to the latest report from MacRumors, Apple will bring the new iPad Air soon. Apple’s existing iPad Air is equipped with an M1 chip, a 10.9-inch screen, a built-in Touch ID fingerprint authentication solution in the power button, an upgraded 12-megapixel front camera, a USB-C port, and new purple and blue options.
Added 12.9-inch version
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng Securities, said that Apple is about to launch two versions of iPad Air models, 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch.
Ming-Chi Kuo said that the new iPad Air still uses traditional LCD material instead of mini-LED backlight material. Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the 12.9-inch iPad Air will be equipped with an “oxide” back panel that can improve display performance.
The next iPad Air models may feature Apple’s M2 chip, which offers improved performance and energy efficiency over the current model’s M1 chip. Apple has updated the iPad Pro equipped with M2 chip in October 2022 .
