A representative for the singer confirmed with the media outlets on Monday that pop star Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez are now officially married. The 27-year-old Grande and 25-year-old Gomez exchanged vows over the weekend in a private ceremony at Grande’s home in Montecito, California.
“It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love,” the singer’s representative told People about the wedding ceremony. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
“Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It seems only natural that they would get married at Ari’s beautiful and historic house.”
The pop star and Gomez often keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
“He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private,” a source previously told PEOPLE.
The couple went public about their relationship when Grande’s song “Stuck with U,” in collaboration with Justin Bieber, was released. Grande and Gomez were dancing together in the music video for the song. Grande announced she and her Dalton got engaged in December. The nuptials came two years after her prior engagement to her former boyfriend, the comedian Pete Davidson.
Grande first flaunted her engagement ring in December, writing in her social media, “forever n then some.”
The couple began dating in January 2020. They grew very close, and very fast while quarantining together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gomez works for a luxury real estate company Aaron Kirkman Group as a buyer’s agent. He “holds one of the largest Rolodexes of A-list buyers and is already connecting many high-profile deals across” Los Angeles, according to his company bio.
The marriage is the first for Grande, who was previously engaged to Pete Davidson. While her job typically takes her all over the world, Grande will be sticking close to Los Angeles for a while. The pop start will replace Nick Jonas in The Voice as a coach next season.
