At CES 2024, the global tech companies will showcase a large number of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, the world’s largest home appliance and information technology (IT) exhibition. Products including IT devices such as laptops and smartphones equipped with AI functions, as well as robots and drones, will be on display.

CES 2024 will be held in Las Vegas, USA for four days from the 9th to the 12th. The theme of this CES 2024 is ‘All On’. It contains the meaning of the world’s technologies coming together to solve humanity’s challenges. More than 4,000 companies from over 150 countries will participate in this year’s CES. The number of domestic participating companies amounts to about 750. It is the third largest after the United States and China.
The south korean tech giant Samsung Electronics presents its AI vision under the theme of ‘AI for everyone: Smart hyper-connected experiences in everyday life.’ LG Electronics introduces its vision for AI technology under the theme of ‘Redefining the future of customers.’ Both companies plan to unveil various new products using AI.
SK Group’s seven affiliates, including SK Corporation, SK Innovation, SK Hynix, SK Telecom, SK E&S, SK Eco Plant, and SKC, participate to jointly operate the exhibition hall. The exhibition hall will showcase high bandwidth memory semiconductor (HBM), glass substrate for semiconductors, AI semiconductor (Sapion X330) , electric vehicle battery, urban air transportation (UAM) under the theme of net zero.
At this CES 2024, Intel and Qualcomm will give keynote speeches on AI technology. Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel, will discuss the impact of semiconductors and software on the economy. In order to secure hegemony in the AI market, Intel is introducing AI-related technologies, including central processing units (CPUs) for PCs, CPUs for servers, and application specific semiconductors (ASICs).
Mobilint is a startup that focuses on developing high-performance edge AI semiconductors. It is expected that the NPU for edge will be unveiled at this event. Farnesia will demonstrate an AI accelerator equipped with Compute Express Link (CXL).
