FOSSiBOT, a new company in the rugged device market, has just launched a new device, designed to redefine industry standards in this niche. It’s called FOSSiBOT DT2 and is equipped with a series of particularly interesting functions, designed to bring a breath of fresh air to the panorama of rugged tablets.
Top of the range memory
FOSSiBOT wanted to equip its tablet with a good amount of memory, so as to allow a more fluid experience in every situation, with always adequate storage space. So here we find 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM , flanked by 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage space.
And to further improve performance it is possible to expand the RAM by 8 GB, thus bringing it to a total of 20 GB, using part of the internal memory. The latter can be further expanded using microSD up to 2 TB, so that large amounts of data, videos and photos can be stored without problems.
Top performance and great autonomy
The overall performance is also not bad, with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset , equipped with an octa core CPU operating at 2.2 GHZ and made with a 6 nanometer production process, which guarantees excellent performance in every situation, as well as guaranteeing 4G connectivity to always be connected.
Autonomy is one of the key factors for those devices that must be used outside the home, perhaps in extreme conditions or without the possibility of recharging them for a few days. Thanks to the 22,000 mAh battery it is possible to reach 75 days on stand-by, while with normal use it is possible to work for several days without recharging it.
