Samsung Galaxy S24 series is launching on January 17th. The S24 lineup will most likely include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. This time too, Samsung is said to use both the Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets for the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series Indian variant chipset leaked
- Samsung is planning to launch the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S24 models in India.
- The Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in India.
- The vanilla Galaxy S24 will feature the in-house Exynos 2400 chipset, the tipster added. This isn’t official but the tipster alleges the information is 99 percent confirmed but only for India.
- The Indian variants have always received the Exynos models except for the Galaxy S23 series, which used only the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
- This is good news for Indian users as the Snapdragon models have been proven to perform better than their Exynos counterparts.
Samsung Galaxy S24 colour variants India (expected)
- The Galaxy S24 series is expected to feature three models — Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Colour options for all three phones have been revealed by tipster Ishan Agarwal.
- The Galaxy S24 will reportedly launch in three colour options of Black, Gray, Yellow, and Violet, while the Galaxy S24+ will get Black and Violet.
- As for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, this one is said to come in Titanium/Gray, Black, Yellow and Violet colours. The tipster adds that all three models will get online exclusive colour options of Orange, Green and Blue.
Samsung is expected to add more colour options later after the phones debut.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series specs (expected)
- Display: The Galaxy S24 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED FHD+ 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. The Galaxy S24+ will get a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, while the S24 Ultra gets a 6.8-inch display, the biggest among the three.
- Processor: All three phones will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 depending on the region.
- RAM and storage: The Galaxy S24 will reportedly launch in two variants of 8GB RAM + 128GB and 256GB of storage. The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra will pack 12GB of RAM + 256GB and 512GB of storage.
- Cameras: The Galaxy S24 and S24+ are tipped to sport two 50MP cameras with a 3x telephoto sensor. Both phones will be able to record up to 8K videos. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a 200MP primary camera with 3x and 10x telephoto sensors.
- Battery, charging: The Galaxy S24 is tipped to pack a 4,000mAh battery, the S24+ gets a 4,900mAh battery, and the S24 Ultra a 5,000mAh battery.
