According to the latest information, Samsung is working on a new smartphone in the XCover series, which is the company’s lineup for rugged devices, and this upcoming phone is called the Galaxy XCover 7.
Key Information revealed
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), Roland Quandt claims that the Galaxy XCover 7 will have a 6.6-inch display and it will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
According to the tipster, Samsung will price the phone at EUR 400 (approximately $440). That means the Galaxy XCover 7 will feature a much larger screen than the Galaxy XCover 5 and it will cost a lot more than its predecessor (EUR 299 vs EUR 400).
The Galaxy XCover 7 carries the model number SM-G556B. The phone’s listing on Geekbench suggested that it features the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The FCC certification of the device, on the other hand, revealed that it has a 4,000mAh battery, which could be user-removable. Being a rugged phone, it is expected to feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
