Google’s team of developers rapidly working on improving the company’s various services and apps and among the latest innovations are those relating to Google Watch for Wear OS, Gmail and Google Messages.
Google Watch for Wear OS updates
Google has kicked off the release of a small update for the Google Clock app on Wear OS, implementing changes related to the usability of the Alarm and Stopwatch features.
As for the alarm, the FAB button moves from the bottom to the top of the interface, making it easier to create a new event. You can get the latest changes on the version 6.6.171.582642317.
Gmail improves on tablets
In these hours, a navigation bar on the left is making its debut on Android tablets in the Gmail app, a solution that has already been available for a while on foldable devices.
The new interface displays a hamburger button, followed by the one to write a new message and four tabs (Gmail, Chat, Spaces and Meet). This new interface is currently being released and is available with version 2023.11.12.x.
Google Messages changes name
This small change, which is not currently visible to all users, aims to align this application with the others from the Mountain View giant in terms of naming.
