Google is redesigning Nearby Sharing on Android
According to reports via X, Google is working on Nearby BETA (or v3) which includes improvements to nearby sharing settings and a redesign of the user interface.
The functionality reportedly remains the same, but the submit screen is now presented as a full-screen page, rather than via the sheet at the bottom, as is currently the case.
At the moment it is not yet known when the update will be released, but it will probably arrive in the next few weeks.
Some strings spotted within the Pixel Camera app code suggest that Google may be bringing a new feature to Pixel 8 smartphones.
One of the smart features exclusive to the Google Pixel 8 is Best Take which takes multiple photos of groups to identify the best faces of people in order to offer the photo where everyone looks their best.
While the feature is already impressive in itself, it seems that Google is already working on updating it, allowing its latest smartphones to get the best faces from a moving photo.
