Google is working on more AI-powered products. The company has introduced a new Google One AI Premium plan backed by Gemini features for Gmail, Docs, and other Workspace apps for personal accounts.
These new features allow you to “get more done without jumping between tabs or apps.” So, let’s take a closer look at what Gemini brings to the Workspace apps.
Gmail and Google Docs
In Gmail and Docs, Gemini introduces features like “Help Me Write”, using generative AI to help draft emails and other content. It can “Formalise,” “Elaborate,” “Bullets,” “Summarise,” “Tone” (choose between “Formal” or “Casual”) or “Shorten” the content. You can also give it a “Custom” prompt, like asking it to turn your text into a poem.
Google Workspace customers also get access to the standalone “Chat with Gemini” feature at gemini.google.com.
