Google has recently announced that the Google Pixel Watch app notifies when the smartwatch is fully charged. Now it appears this feature has rolled out to some Google Pixel Watch 2 owners.
Google brings full charge notifications for the Pixel Watch app
As per the latest update information, the smartwatch full charge notification has just been spotted in version 2.1.0.576785526 of the Google Pixel Watch app, and it simply says “Pixel Watch fully charged,” followed by “Your watch is at 100%.”
For now there doesn’t appear to be an option to disable the notification, but that shouldn’t be a problem as it’s useful to know when the smartwatch is charged, especially if you’re not near the device while it’s charging.
For now it’s unclear whether this feature will come to all Google Pixel Watch models, but since the notification comes from the Pixel Watch app itself, it’s logical to expect that it will work with any Google smartwatch.
