Google team is now working on more changes for its products.. The Mountain View giant’s decisions to close its services are made based on various assessments, such as low popularity, little usefulness or the existence of internal alternatives that end up stepping on each other’s toes.
Google Play Films New Update
Google Play Film is a service dedicated to the search, rental purchase and playback of cinematographic films on various types of devices (Android smartphones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, computers with Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems, Chromebooks and smart TVs).
Recently Google announced that on smart TVs and streaming devices with Android TV, starting from 17 January 2024, the Shop tab will be the new home for watching previously purchased titles or purchasing and renting new films, adding that purchased titles (including active rentals) are available in the Your Library row on the Store tab.
On cable boxes or set-top boxes with Android TV, also starting January 17, 2024, the YouTube app will be the new home for watching previously purchased titles or purchasing and renting new movies on Google. Users will have the ability to access titles purchased from Google (including active rentals) through the YouTube app.
