Google releases beta 2 of Android 14 QPR2

Google is now rolling out the Android 14 QPR2 update. It is releasing a new preview version on supported Pixels for users registered with the Android beta program.

This is the second preview version of the second quarterly development cycle of Android 14 which will end in March with the release of the stable version of Android 14 QPR2 and the Pixel Feature Drop in March (the first in 2024 as well as the second for Android 14).

Android 14 QPR2: Beta 2 arrives

As anticipated at the beginning, while some users in possession of a Pixel are still waiting for the update to Android 14 QPR1 (in gradual distribution for a few days on the stable channel together with the Pixel Feature Drop of December 2023), Google continues to deal with the second cycle of intermediate development of what is the most recent version of Android.

In any case, the new build distributed by Big G is AP11.231117.006 (with security patches updated in December 2023, the same ones released on Wednesday in the stable channel with Android 14 QPR1), and has a weight of 565 MB on Google Pixel 7 Pro (coming from the previous beta 1).
