Google Watch is updated on the Google Play Store to version 7.7, introducing a couple of new features to Android that improve the user experience. Both concern the weather function, available exclusively on smartphones from the Pixel range: let’s discover them together.
What’s new in Google Watch 7.7
Google Clock is an app with several features which obviously all have to do with time. In addition to integrating some useful widgets, the application offers the possibility of setting alarms and alarms, viewing different time zones, setting timers and stopwatches and can even help you sleep better by listening to relaxing sounds and Rest mode.
The first new feature is located within the latter: it is now possible to set an option to display the weather forecast after the alarm rings, as you can see in the comparative images below. If you have updated to version 7.7 and don’t see this option, you don’t have to worry: it is an exclusive designed for smartphones from Google ‘s Pixel line.
Another small innovation has been integrated into Google Clock with this latest version, and it always concerns the weather. As you probably know, within the section dedicated to the various time zones you can view the current temperature of the place, combined with the maximum and minimum temperature of the day.
With the new release a small dot has been added to separate the latter two, in order to make the distinction more readable and clear. Also in this case it only appears to users who own a smartphone from the Pixel line: in the image below you can appreciate the differences between version 7.6 and 7.7.
