Initially, the beta test will be limited to the HONOR Magic5 and HONOR Magic4 series , but other eligible smartphones joining the program will be announced later.
HONOR Begins Recruiting for MagicOS 8.0 Internal Beta
According to reports, 3,000 places will be available for users of HONOR Magic5 series smartphones and the same number for owners of Magic4 series smartphones who must download MagicOS 7.1.0.183 and 7.0.0.171 respectively to participate in the MagicOS 8.0 beta program.
The company has not yet revealed the features of MagicOS 8.0, perhaps because it is waiting to unveil this new software with the upcoming HONOR Magic 6 series.
It is worth clarifying that the beta recruitment process is carried out in stages and may take some time to accommodate all participants.
After installing the first beta builds of MagicOS 8.0, the device may experience overheating, slowdowns and increased energy consumption, problems that will automatically disappear with the various updates.
It should also be kept in mind that the purpose of a beta program is to use the software sufficiently and report any bugs found to the developer so that they can be fixed, so it is best to avoid filling seats if you do not intend to actively participate in the program.
