Honor will launch the Honor X50 GT in China. It will be the second GT-series phone to follow after the Honor 90 GT, which debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 earlier this month.
Honor has confirmed that the Honor X50 GT will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. The performance-driven phone will have Honor GPU Turbo for an enhanced gaming experience.
According to the brand, the X50 GT unleashes maximized Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 performance, surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, particularly noticeable in gaming scenarios where it achieves superior frame rates.
Honor CMO Harrison Zhang confirmed in a Weibo post that the Honor X50 GT will launch in China on January 4 at 7:30pm local time (5pm IST). The phone is listed on the Honor China website as well. The announcement poster and the listing reveal the design of the handset. It is confirmed to launch in Magic Night Black and Silver Wings Ares (translated from Chinese) colour options.

According to the latest information, the Honor X50 GT will have a 6.78-nich OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The X50 GT may pack a 5,800mAh battery with 35W charging support. It will have an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 108-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. It will run on Magic OS 7.2-based Android 14.

The Honor X50 GT is expected to arrive with a 1,999 Yuan starting price. As confirmed by the brand, it will be available in variants such as 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be available in shades such as Magic Night Black and Silver Winged God of War.
