iQOO has confirmed the launch of the iQOO Neo 9 series smartphones in China. The Vivo-owned smartphone OEM has been teasing the specifications of the device over the past couple of weeks through Weibo.
iQOO Neo 9 Pro, Neo 9 China Launch Date Confirmed
iQOO will debut the iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e at the event. iQOO has announced the launch date of the upcoming Neo 9 series smartphones through a new teaser video.
The teaser reveals that the event will start at 7 PM (UTC + 8) and will be live-streamed through the microsite created for the launch. The teaser also confirms that iQOO will introduce the upcoming smartphones in black and blue colour options apart from the dual-tone variant with Red and White leather inserts.
iQOO previously confirmed that it will equip the Neo 9 Pro smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The chipset is likely to pair with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. iQOO will also equip the Pro smartphone with the Q1 Supercomputing chip. To recall, iQOO offered its flagship iQOO 12 5G smartphone with the same Supercomputing chip to enhance the gaming performance.
The upcoming smartphones will run Origin OS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box. MySmartPrice recently spotted the vanilla and Pro smartphones in 3C certifications with 120W fast charging capacity. The smartphones are tipped to boast a large 5160mAh battery with a built-in power management chip.
