Kelly Clarkson was ordered to pay her husband Brandon Blackstock $200,000 a month in spousal and child support, as well as $1.25 million in attorney fees. The singer’s bitter legal battle with her ex and former manager has become even more contentious due to the costly settlement, which is far greater than that of other celebrity divorces.

According to court documents, the judge issued the order following disagreements over the former couple’s property, children, and monthly income.

Kelly, 39, and Brandon’s finances were detailed in the petition, including the star’s tremendous earnings.

According to reports, The Voice coach gets a whopping $1,583,617 every month. Due to Kelly’s substantial wages, she is compelled to pay Brandon $150,000 per month in spousal support beginning April 1, 2021.

Kelly will also “pay child support to (Brandon) for the benefit of the minor children, River Rose Blackstock, born June 12, 2014, and Remington Alexander Blackstock, born April 12, 2016, for $45,601 per month.”

The American Idol winner has been ordered to pay her ex-husband $195,601 in spousal support per month.

Additionally, the records indicate that Brandon, 44, who has managed Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and other music industry stars, has announced his retirement from the music industry. He plans to be a rancher in his new home in Montana.

Brandon “made a very deliberate choice to change his life and become a rancher full-time,” according to the records. According to the publication, his future job aspirations include sponsoring rodeos and working on the ranch.

Kelly had asked permission from the judge to sell the Montana ranch where the family was quarantined, but her plea was denied.

“Brandon will be responsible for making the timely payments for the carrying cost of the Montana ranch, which included handling the mortgage, loans against the property, taxes, and insurance,” the papers indicate. The cost of managing the ranch is approximately $81,000 per month.

Kelly is also obligated to pay $1.25 million in attorney expenses and professional expenditures incurred by Brandon during their protracted divorce.

The music star’s spousal support is significantly more than many of Hollywood’s high-profile divorcees have had to pay.

When Madonna, 62, divorced ex-husband Guy Ritchie, she was ordered to pay $15,000 a month in child support to the director. Britney Spears, 39, was ordered to pay $20,000 per month in child support since 2007 after divorcing Kevin Federline following the birth of their two boys.
