Kim Kardashian Will Receive $200k Per Month Child Support After Finalizing Divorce From Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce has finally been finalized. The two agreed to have joint custody of their children, North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. The Hollywood couple started their relationship in 2012 and tied the knot in May 2014.

The reality star filed for divorce in February 2021, after seven years of being married to the Yeezy founder. The former couple is now living separately. Kanye lives in Wyoming, while Kim and their children are now living in their Calabasas family home. Kim became $2.4 million richer.

The rapper will also be required to pay Kim a whopping $200,000 a month for child support, which includes his kids’ medical, educational, and security expenses. Both of them can spend time with their children, but Kim will be with her children most of the time, while Kanye will be given 20% of the time. However, the couple waived spousal support, and their properties will be shared following their prenuptial agreement. Kanye also transferred the title of his $4.5 million house to live closer to his children, but with them sharing joint custody, he can visit and see his kids whenever he likes.

The two also agreed to settle disputes when it came to their children. Then, they decided to participate in mediation to make a decision. If one fails to do its part, the other is allowed to decide by default. Kim is now responsible for all the expenses of the house adjacent to her home.

Kanye met with several divorce lawyers to show his resistance to divorce during the proceedings. Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, took time to work out the issues. After waiting for months, Kanye finally accepted their divorce. The rapper worked hard to win Kim back through social media and even changed the lyrics of one of his songs during a live performance, begging her to return to him. Kanye failed to win her back as she made two separate filings to become legally single, and the court granted her request in March 2022 despite Kanye’s objections. Kim is now single and a three-time divorcee with four children to raise. Fans are now waiting for her new relationship in the future.

Representatives of the two parties have not yet responded to any interviews or comments on their divorce decision.
