Lenovo has now officially launched the new IdeaPad Pro 5i (16-inch, 9), which is the world’s first consumer Intel Evo Edition laptop with Intel’s new Core Ultra processor. The company also debuted the Intel Evo Edition ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9.
The ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 are powered by the Intel Core Ultra processors as well, though all configurations of the devices will only be available from March 2024. The laptops run Windows 11.
The Intel Core Ultra processors enable new AI experiences. The processors include three compute engines – CPU (Central Processing Unit), GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), and NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for handling AI PC tasks more efficiently.
