Intel China released a warm-up poster on December 1st: the Core Ultra processor will be released in China on December 15th . In the official poster, Intel highlighted the core graphics performance and AI capabilities of the Core Ultra processor. The poster image was generated locally using the AIGC tool.
Intel introduced the first Core Ultra processor (Meteor Lake) based on the Intel 4 process technology at the Intel ON Technology Innovation Summit held in September this year.
Intel said that thanks to the advanced Foveros 3D packaging technology, Meteor Lake adopts a separated module architecture, dividing the entire processor into functional partitions of computing module, IO module, SoC module, and graphics module, bringing Intel client SoC 40 Revolutionary architectural shifts over the years.
The processor adopts a 3D high-performance hybrid architecture composed of performance cores (Redwood Cove), energy efficiency cores (Crestmont) and low-power energy-efficiency cores. Intel said it has achieved an excellent energy consumption ratio in the history of PC processors and has integrated neural processing for the first time. Network processing units (NPUs) are integrated into PC processors to accelerate the popularization of artificial intelligence.
