The new Google Weather interface arrives on all Android devices
Introduced in October, the redesign of Google Weather was available exclusively on Pixels with all due respect to other brands; an exclusivity that lasted until a few days ago when owners of other Android devices started reporting their sightings.
According to what users have reported online, the new interface is reaching Samsung smartphones and foldables first ; a detail also confirmed by the screenshots below which portray Google Weather on one of our Samsung Galaxy S21 which, moreover, obtained the new design in conjunction with the update to One UI 6 and Android 14.
As can be seen from the screenshots, the interface is identical to the one present on Pixel devices, therefore in line with the Material You canons and with the inevitable presence of the weather frog.
The tabs show numerous parameters such as Wind, Humidity, UV Index, Pressure and Sunrise and sunset, while you can also consult details on Precipitation, Wind and Humidity by the hour.
On tablets and foldable devices, the same view present on Pixel Fold and Tablet will remain with the now classic two-column layout with the daily forecast displayed on the left.
