Meizu has now officially revealed its latest flagship smartphone Meizu 21. The all-new Android smartphone gets a similar design as its predecessor with some minimal changes but introduces many improvements over its predecessor, starting with the adoption of Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset.
Meizu 21 Specifications
Meizu 21 comes with a flat iPhone-style body, measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 198g. At the rear you can see an RGB LED light ring around one of the cameras for notifications and other use cases.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The display is a 6.55-inch flat OLED panel with FHD+ 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution that supports HDR10+ and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, as well as PWM dimming at 1,920 Hz and a peak brightness of 1800 nits.
The selfie camera is a 32MP Samsung S5KJD1 lens , while the rear camera consists of a 200MP Samsung S5KHP3 primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP Samsung S5K3L6 ultrawide lens, and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 depth camera.
Other features include an IP54 rating, dual stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS and NFC.
Meizu 21 is powered by a 4,800mAh battery and supports 80W wired charging. Software-wise the Meizu 21 runs Flyme 10.5 based on Android 14 with GPT-based Aicy personal assistant.
Availability and prices of Meizu 21
Meizu 21 was launched in China in Unbounded Black, Smart Purple, Sharp Green or Meizu White color options. The smartphone is currently up for pre-order and will be on sale starting from December 5th at the price of 3,399 yuan (approximately $479) for the model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage space, 3,699 yuan (approximately $521 ) for the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
