Microsoft has now officially announced that its in-house Copilot app is available on the Apple App Store, which is accessible on both iPhones and iPads. The company had recently released the Copilot app for Android, bringing its AI-powered Assistant to smartphones.
Key details
The new Copilot place next to ChatGPT, which has millions of installations on Android and iOS. The biggest advantage of Copilot is that it lets you access GPT-4 for free, unlike ChatGPT which is limited to GPT-3.5 unless you get a paid subscription. Copilot also provides limited access to DALL-E 3, which can generate images from text using AI.
The user interface of Microsoft’s Copilot app is simple and similar to ChatGPT. Users can provide textual input or use voice commands to get responses to any queries.
Copilot is also accessible on desktop at its dedicated domain copilot.microsoft.com. Hence, Microsoft’s AI bot is now available on almost every device like Windows computers, Macs, iPhones, and Android smartphones. It will be interesting to see if Microsoft tries to monetize Copilot with a paid subscription.
