In 2023 the Microsoft team implemented support for Copilot, the virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence from the Redmond giant, in various company products and in recent hours good news has arrived for Android and iOS users.
In fact, if Copilot is already fully supported by the desktop version of the Microsoft Edge browser , until now those for Android and iOS devices could not count on all the features of the AI assistant.
Artificial intelligence makes its way on Microsoft Edge for Android
With the new version of Microsoft Edge, the popular browser supports plugins for Copilot and this means that users will have the possibility to choose between various tools, from those that search for recipes to those that generate songs.
And again, if you are watching a video on YouTube, you can ask Copilot to summarize it (the assistant can only do this if the movie has transcriptions or subtitles and, therefore, it may not work on all content). Additionally, users can ask Copilot to summarize a PDF file if it is opened via Microsoft Edge.
Also keep in mind that some devices may display more Copilot features than others. Users who are not familiar with the new features can open “Edge://flags” in their browser and check the Experimental flags for the various Copilot options.
