Mila Kunis Shares Her Biggest ‘Parenting Fail’ That Stunned Husband Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis is speaking out about her most glaring ‘parenting fail.’ Mila, 38, offers a piece of advice she provided daughter Wyatt Isabelle, six years old, in a new segment of Ellen Digital’s Mom Confessions web series, which she believes may “get [her] in trouble.”

“There was a little kid in my kid’s preschool that wasn’t very kind and pushed my daughter,” she begins. “My daughter came back and was like, ‘Such and such little kiddo pushed me.’ And I instinctually said, ‘Did you push her back?’ And my daughter’s like, ‘No!’ “

Kunis, who is also the mother to 4-year old Dimitri Portwood with husband Ashton Kutcher, advises her daughter to “push her back next time and say no thank you and walk away.”

Following her advice, the mother of two recalls “seeing Ashton’s face, and he’s like, ‘No!'” she says, mimicking Kutcher’s head shaking in disapproval.

“You stand up for yourself and say no thank you,” she remembers telling her daughter at the time. “Don’t push her off of a ladder, off of a swing, or off of a slide, but on the ground, even Steven, you push her back.”

“I’d say that that’s a parenting fail,” she continues.

The actress also discussed how her kid reminds her of herself in the Mom Confessions video.

“My daughter is me. She is independent and feisty and wonderfully smart, and it is an incredible trait to have as an adult but really hard to wrangle as a kid,” she shares. “She has a million answers to one question, and she’s not wrong.”

Regarding the guidance she would provide to new parents, Kunis is guarded, “Kids are like little terrorists. Don’t negotiate with them. It’ll go nowhere.”

In a September interview with ET, Kunis discussed how she and Kutcher handle their hectic lives.

“We tag team!” she said. “We never work at the same time. We only shoot on location during summer breaks, and the rest of the time, we shoot at home.”
