On some devices running Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, it has been discovered that the Google Pixel Launcher search is also able to show quick settings tiles in the results: these elements are completely interactive and work in the same way as their counterparts can be found in the Quick Settings panel.
New Changes
Items that appear include Internet, Bluetooth, Hotspot, Do Not Disturb Mode, Camera/Microphone Access, Screen Cast, Screen Recording, Home and Device Controls, Location, and Battery Saver Mode.
This new system seems to be able to offer users a more uniform experience and always appears at the top, making it easier to immediately identify what you are looking for. Additionally, more actions appear, such as the flashlight or QR code reader.
It seems that Android System Intelligence also plays a role in its implementation and probably for its availability at a global level it will be necessary to wait for the update to Android 14 QPR2 to be released.
You can download the latest available version of Google Pixel Launcher from the Google Play Store.
