Nubia Z60 Ultra launch is now around the corner, the launch is set for December 19, 2023, but the manufacturer is releasing some teasers these days to create interest around the Android smartphone.
Nubia Z60 Ultra under display camera
Nubia continues with the integration of cameras under the display, which we saw on the predecessor Nubia Z50 Ultra and on some gaming models in the REDMAGIC range (such as the recent 9 Pro and 9 Pro+.
No notch, no Apple-style pill and no hole: just the screen. The video reveals a Nubia Z60 Ultra with a square design, but the main attraction is undoubtedly the display with hidden camera (now in its fifth generation).
The smartphone is compared with other models (including what appears to be a component of the iPhone 15 range) and shows how in its current state this technology is able to perfectly integrate the front camera under the screen: to the naked eye it seems truly impossible to notice it.
The Chinese company has confirmed the use of BOE materials and technologies for the display of its Z60 Ultra, which allow a pixel size of 2.8 µm and a pixel density of 400 ppi. There is also a display chip dedicated to color optimization, as well as support for 2160 Hz PWM dimming.
Based on what we know, Nubia Z60 Ultra should offer a 6.8-inch OLED screen at 1.5K resolution with refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a triple rear camera with 50 MP sensor, ultra-wide angle sensor and 64 telephoto lens. MP, all with optical image stabilization (OIS). The heart should be made up of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC , supported by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
