OnePlus is looking to unveil its new smartphone the OnePlus 12. The company has now confirmed the launch date of the device and as per the official post, it is arriving in China on December 5. Ahead of the official debut, the company has been confirming the key details about the device for the last few days.
This new flagship smartphone will come with a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera (Omnivision O64B sensor), and a 48MP ultra-wide lens (Sony IMX581).
The company’s China president Li Jie also has confirmed via Weibo that the smartphone will be offering wireless charging support. It was revealed yesterday that the device could launch in the global market including India on January 24. Now, in a recent development, the OnePlus 12 global launch date has been revealed by tipster Max Jambor.
OnePlus 12 Will Support Wireless Charging
A reliable tipster, Max Jambor, the OnePlus 12 series will launch on January 23 in India. This is the same day when the brand will conclude the OnePlus 12 giveaway. Given the brand’s past records, this upcoming smartphone lineup will be unveiled in India, the USA, the UK, and some European nations on the same day.

The good news is that the company is all set to offer wireless charging support (Via: Android Authority) as revealed by OnePlus China president Li Jie. Though the executive didn’t reveal the charging details, it could be possible that the handset will offer 50W wireless charging support, as per the past rumours. The device will support 100W wired fast charging as revealed by the 3C certification previously.

The smartphone is confirmed to feature an AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as revealed by OnePlus earlier. The smartphone will sport a triple-camera setup at the back. The camera module will comprise a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-808 sensor), a 48MP ultra-wide lens (Sopny IMX581), and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera (Omnivision O64B sensor).
The device is expected to pack a 5,400mAh battery. The smartphone will also have an alert slider on the left side, and an IR blaster on the top side. As confirmed by OnePlus previously, the smartphone will launch in White, Rock Black, And Pale Green colours.
