Google’s team of developers has started the release of an update for the popular Pixel Camera application, bringing it to version 9.2.
We remind you that at the moment the Google Pixel 8 series can count on version 9.1 while the previous models are stuck at version 9.0 and this update is available to everyone.
Version 9.2 of Pixel Camera
All devices in the Google Pixel range with version 9.2 of the application can rely on a redesigned user interface, in which the options for Brightness, Shadows and White Balance are moved from the two edges to a carousel menu, accessible from the bottom right corner. There is also a reset button in case any changes are made.
Another change is represented by the movement of the preferences panel for flash, Best shot, timer, aspect ratio, etc., which is no longer aligned at the top but moves to a lower sheet which can be accessed by swiping towards the top on the viewfinder.
Furthermore, in the Advanced section within the Settings menu, users will find the on/off switches for the Ultra HDR and Rich Colors features in photos (this is new for owners of previous generation models compared to the one launched in October ) while Google Pixel 8 owners can now disable Ultra HDR.
Finally, with version 9.2 it is possible to set the Palm Timer function to always be active and not only if there is a 3 or 10-second timer.
