Android Automotive is Google ‘s native platform for cars and has already been adopted by various car manufacturers, such as Volvo, Honda and Ford, although to date there are very few vehicles that make it available.
Now according to the latest information, Porsche has also announced a collaboration with Google that will bring Android Automotive to future vehicles of the German car manufacturer.
Porsche will adopt Android Automotive with Google apps
Adopting Android Automotive as an on-board operating system does not necessarily mean having to also adopt Google services.
Porsche, however, confirms that Google Maps , Google Assistant and a wide variety of apps available through the Google Play Store will be present in its future vehicles.
