Realme India’s official website now hosts a microsite that confirms the new handset will feature a periscope camera, very likely to be the Realme 12 Pro+.
According to a report, the microsite on Flipkart has confirmed that the new handset is a member of the Realme 12 series, as observed from a closer examination of the URL.
Realme 12 Pro series
The Realme 12 series has been sighted on multiple certification websites, including TENAA, TDRA, MIIT, and BIS.
Design: A recent leak has revealed the design of the upcoming Realme 12 Pro. The phone will be available in black, orange, and cream colours. The latter two will feature a yellowish vertical strip in the middle and are expected to come with a vegan leather finish, while the black variant may have a glass back.
Chipset: A leak suggests that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset will power the Realme 12 Pro+, while an undisclosed octa-core SoC with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz will power the Pro variant.
Rear Cameras: The Realme 12 Pro is likely to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 32MP secondary lens, and an 8MP sensor. Meanwhile, the Realme 12 Pro+ is speculated to feature a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens, offering 3x optical zoom, accompanied by a 50MP secondary lens and an 8MP camera.
Front camera: The Realme 12 Pro is expected to come with a 16MP selfie shooter, while the Pro+ is likely to feature a 32MP selfie camera.
Battery: As per the TENAA listing, a 4,880mAh battery will fuel both the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+.
RAM and storage: The RAM and storage options for both the Realme 12 Pro+ and Pro variants are: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
