Realme is to launch the new phone and reportedly it will sport a periscope telephoto lens. While Realme has not named the device, it is widely expected to be the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G series. The upcoming Realme smartphone will compete with the newly debuted Redmi Note 13 series of smartphones.

Realme has also put up a micro-site for the forthcoming devices on its official website, revealing camera details and trade in offers for the upcoming phone. Realme Confirms Periscope Lens and Trade in Benefit
The micro-site of the upcoming Realme mid-range smartphone confirms the inclusion of a periscope telephoto sensor. Realme highlights the presence of a periscope telephoto sensor with the caption “Beyond 200MP, Periscope Awaits“. Realme also shared two images taken with an in-sensor zoom of 200MP lens and a periscope lens to illustrate the difference.
Realme has also announced the Make it Real tagline, departing from the existing Dare to Leap tagline ahead of the launch of Realme 12 series smartphones.
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared renders for the new phones, which show that the Realme 12 Pro will debut in White, Black and Orange colourways. The images obtained from an earlier TENAA listing had also revealed an identical design as the one shared by DCS.The vanilla Realme 12 Pro 5G will sport a 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera will be 50MP+32MP+8MP for the Realme Pro.
Digital Chat Station also revealed that the Realme 12 Pro+ smartphone will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The TENAA listing also confirms the same chipset paired with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of storage.
