Samsung has announced three new smartphones in its Galaxy A range. The Samsung Galaxy A05s, A15 and Galaxy A25, the latter two with a new “Key Island” design element that will likely also feature other mid-range Samsung smartphones in 2024.
Samsung Galaxy A15 is a budget smartphone and the 4G and 5G variants share most of the specifications but sport different chipsets. The Galaxy A15 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, while the Galaxy A15 5G adopts the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+.
Samsung Galaxy A15 4G is offered with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the 5G model is only available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, however memory configurations may vary depending on based on the market.
Both variants offer a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide one, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera has a resolution of 13MP.
Samsung Galaxy A15 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and 800 nits of brightness. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging and includes One UI 6.0 interface.
Samsung Galaxy A25 is based on the Exynos 1280 chipset and is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, it is also powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging and supports One UI 6.0 , however the 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display can reach 1,000 nits and supports 120 Hz refresh.
The 50MP main camera features optical image stabilization (OIS) and the ultra-wide camera has a resolution of 8MP. The selfie and depth sensors are the same as the A15 and 13 MP and 2 MP respectively.
Samsung presents Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A05s in Europe
Samsung Galaxy A05s will be available in black, silver and lime colors, however the company points out that color availability may vary by operator and country.
Samsung did not mention which version of One UI the Galaxy A25 and A05s will launch with in France, but it is expected to be Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for the A25 and One UI 5.1 for the A05s.
The company said that the Samsung Galaxy A05s has 64GB of storage, but left out RAM details, however it is likely to include 4GB of RAM.
