Samsung Galaxy A55 is all set to launch in the market soon. In fact, it is now “confirmed” that the device will use the Exynos S5E8845 chipset.
Samsung chipset performance Exynos 1480
In GeekBench’s single-core CPU performance test, theExynos 1480 achieved 1180 points, while in the multi-core test it scored 3536 points.
These results surpass those of the Galaxy A54, which stand at 1108 and 2797 points respectively. The Exynos 1480 is configured as an octa-core chipset, with four high-performance cores with a maximum frequency of 2.75 GHz and another four efficiency-oriented cores, operating up to 2.05 GHz.
A particularly intriguing aspect is the use of aXclipse 530 GPU based on AMD RDNA2, predictably more powerful than the previous Exynos Malu GPUs and potentially capable of supporting ray tracing in games, although this feature remains the subject of speculation at the moment.
