The South Korean tech giant Samsung is working on the Galaxy M15 smartphone. The South Korean giant will debut the device in 4G and 5G variants depending on each market. The forthcoming device will be the successor to the Galaxy M14 smartphone.
The company recently launched the Galaxy A15 5G smartphone in Indian market. The Galaxy M series smartphones are toned-down variants of the Galaxy A series smartphones. A report from the Galaxy Club (via Sammobiles) has revealed the features of the upcoming Galaxy M15 smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy M15 Expected Specifications
Samsung Galaxy M15 smartphone to launch with a larger 6000mAh battery. The battery capacity will thus be higher than the 5000mAh battery of the Galaxy A15 smartphone.
Samsung’s four-year update policy will help it stand out from the budget smartphones from Chinese manufacturers. Galaxy Club also adds that Samsung will equip the Galaxy M15 smartphone with specifications similar to the Galaxy A15 smartphone.
To recall, the Galaxy A15 smartphone was launched with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED with FHD+ resolution. The AMOLED display will sport an Infinity U notch, a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Under the hood, the 4G variant sports the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, built on a 6nm process.
It runs One UI 5 based on Android 13 out of the box. The chipset pairs with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. Samsung equips the smartphone with triple rear cameras and LED flash.
The setup comprises a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture.
