Samsung is now rolling out the new update for the Galaxy Watch 6 users in India. A new update will be rolled out that will add blood pressure and electrocardiogram (ECG) tracking features to the latest Galaxy Watch 6 series.
Samsung said that both features have been added after receiving regulatory clearances and certifications from India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organization.

Galaxy Watch 6 users can download the latest software update for the BP and ECG features in India. These features will be available on the Samsung Health Monitor app that needs to be downloaded separately from the Galaxy Store.

- Download the Samsung Health Monitor app on your phone and watch.
- Open the app, and calibrate your Galaxy Watch as instructed.
- Make sure your watch is strapped on properly then measure your blood pressure.
- You can then check and review your blood pressure measurements.

Open the Samsung Health Monitor app on your Galaxy Watch, and make sure the watch is properly strapped.
To take an ECG reading, you’ll have to rest your fingertip of the opposite hand lightly on the Galaxy Watch’s top button for 30 seconds. A PDF report will be created with your ECG levels on your smartphone.
