Samsung is now looking to bring another mid-range series of smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy M55 5G, and more.
A new mid-range smartphone from Samsung has been spotted (via) in China’s TENAA certification. The mid-range smartphone with the model number SM-C5560 will likely debut under the Samsung Galaxy Y55 moniker in the Chinese market. The upcoming Galaxy Y series smartphone is expected to be a revival of the Samsung Galaxy Y series launched in 2012.

The TENAA certification reveals that Samsung will equip the upcoming smartphone with a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution. The OLED screen will sport a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and support 16 million colours. The Galaxy Y55 will be powered by a chipset with a clock speed of 2GHz.
Samsung will likely debut the smartphone with OneUI 6 based on Android 14 out of the box. The upcoming Galaxy Y series smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup similar to other mid-range Samsung smartphones. The triple rear camera setup will comprise a 50MP primary lens paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens.
The smartphone will come with a 13MP selfie snapper. The upcoming Galaxy Y55 smartphone will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The certification also reveals the dimensions of the forthcoming smartphone. The upcoming device will have a dimension of 210.942 x 124.74 x 8 mm and weigh 322 grams. The listing could be incorrect about the dimensions and weight of the smartphone.
The TENAA certifications also reveal that Samsung will equip the smartphone with a 4855 mAh battery.
