Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin have split, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE, with one insider stating that “Amelia broke up with Scott.”
According to sources, the 38-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians actor and the 20-year-old model have ended their nearly one-year relationship.
“She ended it,” one insider reveals. “It was bound to happen, but last week’s drama probably sped it up.”
An insider confirmed their split after it was revealed that the pair were having problems. “Scott and Amelia are going through a rocky patch,” the insider said. “It’s partly because of the Kourtney [Instagram DM] drama but also just ‘Scott being Scott.’ They’re not fully over yet, but Amelia isn’t happy with him.”
Disick and Hamlin, according to a source, spent Labor Day Weekend separately.
“Everything seemed fine last weekend, and then all of a sudden, they seem to be having issues,” the insider continued. “They are on the East Coast separately and didn’t leave Los Angeles together.”
Disick and Hamlin made their first appearance together in October 2020 at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween-themed birthday event. In February, while celebrating Valentine’s Day, they made their romance Instagram official.
Despite their 18-year age difference, an insider previously told PEOPLE that the now-ex-couples didn’t “feel the age difference.” Additionally, the insider stated that things had “getting serious,” as Disick had been “telling friends how much she means to him and how into her he is.”
The couple faced a snag last week when Younes Bendjima — who previously dated Disick’s ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian — released his supposed direct messages with Disick. Disick allegedly called out Kardashian’s PDA with boyfriend Travis Barker in Bendjima’s screenshots.
Disick allegedly posted under a photo of Kardashian and Barker kissing while on vacation in Italy: “Yo, is this chick ok!???? Broooo like, what is this. In the middle of Italy.”
“Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy,” Bendjima, 28, allegedly responded. “PS I ain’t your bro.”
Disick and Kardashian are parents to Mason, 11, Reign, 6, and Penelope, 9.
Hamlin, the younger daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, appeared to react to the issue on Sunday, sharing an Instagram Story snapshot of herself wearing a tank top that read, “Don’t you have a girlfriend?”
On Monday, she shared a mysterious remark on her Instagram Story, emphasizing the importance of not settling.
“Never settle for less. Not with your job, your friends, and especially not with your heart,” the statement says. “Continue to seek what you are looking for and do not shrink yourself for the sake of other people. You deserve the best.”
