Vivo is working on the new foldable smartphones. The Chinese smartphone giant will debut a basic and Pro model in the third generation of foldable devices.
Now, a reliable Weibo tipster has shared the details of the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphones. The tipster has now revealed the exact chipset details of the forthcoming foldable smartphones in a new post (via) on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.
Vivo X Fold 3 Series Expected Specifications
According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphones will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets respectively. Qualcomm has used TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset features one Cortex X3 at 3.2GHz, two Cortex A715 cores at 2.8GHz, three Cortex A510 cores at 2.0GHz and an Adreno 740 GPU. In comparison, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 3 SoC sports one Cortex X4 core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz, two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.26GHz, and an Adreno 750 GPU.
