WhatsApp development team is constantly working to bring new features to one of the most used messaging apps in the world. The app’s beta channel was recently updated with version 2.23.26.3 of the application, bringing some new features for sharing photos and videos in HD within the States.
Recently, WhatsApp Beta showed us that the development team is working on a function that allows you to automatically share status updates on Instagram and Facebook, while the new version currently rolling out further improves status sharing. allowing you to upload photos and videos in high quality.
What’s new in version 2.23.26.3 of WhatsApp Beta
As can be seen from the screenshot below, it will finally be possible to share photos and videos in high quality through the Status updates, by clicking on the “HD” icon at the top of the screen, in a completely identical way to sharing images and videos within conversations.
It is also worth specifying that the function was discovered within the code of the latest version of WhatsApp Beta, therefore it is not yet active in the beta channel and will be released via a future app update in the coming weeks.
