WhatsApp developer team is working on an improvement through the introduction of new features and the resolution of bugs gradually encountered by users, all with the aim to guarantee an increasingly pleasant experience.
And recently a new beta version of the application dedicated to Android-based devices has been released: we are talking about version 2.24.1.4.
WhatsApp Beta removes a limitation
WhatsApp team introduced companion mode, a feature much appreciated by users but with some limitations, such as the impossibility of publishing status updates from associated devices.
Well, with version 2.24.1.4 beta this limit is finally removed. As shown in this GIF, with the latest beta version of the app some users have the ability to share images, videos, GIFs, text and voice messages via status updates even from a companion device.
At the moment there is no information on when this functionality will be made available to all users through its implementation in a stable version of the application.
