According to the latest information from GSMChina, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will launch in two variants named “aurora” and “aurorapro.” The “aurorapro” variant is also rumoured to feature a new feature, an under-screen camera (CUP).
The “aurorapro” variant has been identified on the Xiaomi server, equipped with the latest HyperOS build, with the build number 24.1.12. This build number confirms the operating system as the HyperOS daily build and also suggests that the phone will debut with HyperOS 14, based on Android 14, out of the box. The smartphone is likely to launch in the first quarter of 2024.

Display: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is tipped to come with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
Processor: A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with an Adreno 750 GPU is expected to power the device.
Software: Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
RAM and Storage: The chipset could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Rear cameras: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra could feature a 50MP Sony LYT-900 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a fourth Sony LYT900 sensor.
Front camera: There could be a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.
Battery: A 5,500mAh or 5,180mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support could power the device.
Other Features: IP68 rating and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
