Xiaomi has officially announced a USD 10 billion investment for its electric car segment in 2021. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China has now revealed the images of the upcoming Xiaomi Smart Speed Ultra 7 or SU7 EV.
Xiaomi SU7 EV and SU7 Max EV
The company will bring a new EV as a C-class luxury sedan to compete against Tesla, NIO, Geely and others. The images confirm that Xiaomi will equip the LiDAR sensor on the roof.
Wings are usually seen in racing cars and high-performance cars where drivers want to maximize their acceleration speed.
The thin headlights and a bonnet with a slop design add further elegance to the design. The SU7 EV has wider wheel arches and sports a five-spoke alloy wheel with yellow brake callipers.
