Shocking updates surface on the untimely demise of Aaron Carter.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has revealed new details regarding the death of former pop-star Aaron Carter. The cause of the singer’s death was earlier determined to be drowning.

The secondary causes of his untimely passing were attributed to the effects of alprazolam, commonly known as Xanax, and difluoroethane, a compressed gas. Aaron Carter’s death has been officially deemed an accident and the case has now been closed.

According to the full coroner’s report, Aaron was rendered “incapacitated while in the bathtub” due to the effects of certain substances and subsequently drowned.

Aaron passed away on November 5 at 34 years old. He was discovered unresponsive in his residence in Southern California.

At approximately 11:00 a.m. PT, the house sitter who found an unresponsive male in the bathtub contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station. The house sitter was instructed to perform CPR, but the man was declared dead upon the arrival of deputies and fire department personnel. The identity of the man was not confirmed by the Sheriff’s Department.

Following the news of Aaron’s death, numerous admirers, celebrity peers, and relatives of the former child star, who gained fame through popular songs like “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” offered condolences, including his brother Nick Carter.

On November 6, the Backstreet Boys member, who previously paid tribute to Aaron at one of the band’s shows, took to Instagram to express his sorrow, writing, “Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded. I have always held on to the hope that he would somehow, someday want to walk a healthy path and eventually find the help that he so desperately needed.”

Nick further reminisced on Aaron’s struggles with addiction and mental health issues, which the “I Want Candy” artist had previously been open about.

He wrote, “Sometimes we want to blame someone or something for a loss, but the truth is that addiction and mental illness is the real villain here. I will miss my brother more than anyone will ever know. I love you Chizz. Now you can finally have the peace you could never find here on earth….God, Please take care of my baby brother.”

Aaron passed away nearly one year after he and Melanie Martin welcomed their son, whom they named Prince.
