Apple’s iPhone 15 Series is expected to launch with an upgraded battery capacity compared to the iPhone 14 Series. Now, according to Apple analyst Jeff Pu, as reported by MacRumors, the two upcoming Pro models from Apple, likely to be named the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, will get a price increase this year in comparison to their predecessors. The analyst suggests that both of these phones are expected to be priced higher than the current starting price of $1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Furthermore, the report reveals that, apart from featuring a larger battery and display, one difference is expected between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro is the addition of a periscope lens. Pu stated that while both Pro models will incorporate telephoto lenses as part of their triple camera setup, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is anticipated to get a periscope lens that will enable 5x to 6x optical zoom over the 3x zoom capability of last year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.

In addition, other reports suggest that the iPhone 15 series is likely to receive an upgrade in battery capacity compared to the iPhone 14 series. The iPhone 15 is rumored to pack a 3,877mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 Plus is expected to sport a 4,912mAh battery. Similarly, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to come with a 3,650mAh battery, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to come with a 4,852mAh battery.
