Apple is working on its next-generation iPhones. These smartphones are said to arrive with the iOS 18, this iOS version to come with a plethora of AI features, and to facilitate this, Apple is developing a new chip that will drive the forthcoming iPhone 16.
The A18 is anticipated to augment the quantity of integrated AI computing cores to bolster the on-device AI capabilities.
Apple plans to improve add more AI computing cores and improve the performance of the A18 processors on the iPhone 16. It plans to deploy a similar strategy for the M4 chipset, which is expected to power the new MacBooks, according to the report.
The addition of more neural cores is expected to make iPhone 16 and other Apple devices handle more advanced AI stuff smoothly.

Additionally, it looks like Apple is also changing the design of the upcoming iPhone 16. Leaked renders suggest that the upcoming non-Pro iPhones will feature a vertically aligned camera island on the back, resembling a blend of the camera setups seen on the iPhone X and iPhone 11.
