Are Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Calling it Quits?

It seems that wherever there’s Britney Spears, there’s drama. Now sources are saying the 41-year-old pop star’s marriage to 29-year-old model and fitness trainer Sam Asghari is in ‘deep trouble’. Allegedly, Spears has gotten physical with her husband.

Recent reports state that the couple often gets into screaming arguments that have gotten so out of hand security had to intervene. Allegedly, Asghari does not stay in the house much. This is problematic as Spears has relied on him since ending her conservatorship.

TMZ released a documentary on Spears’s problematic life Monday, May 15. But Ashghari went live on Instagram to defend his wife’s honor.

“I found it disgusting that people that were in her life at the time when she didn’t have a voice, went and told her story like it was theirs. It was absolutely disgusting.

“How are you gonna take the most influential person of our generation, the princess of pop, America’s sweetheart, and put her in prison where her father tells her what to do, what water to drink, who to see, and use her as a money-making machine?

“Then, all the sudden, after 15 years when she’s free, after all those gaslighting and after all those things that went down, how are you gonna put her under a microscope and tell her story? NO. That’s also disgusting,” Ahsgari said.

The TMZ doc is entitled “TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears, The Price of Freedom”. It looks at her life since her conservatorship ended a year and a half ago. It touches on her relationships with her children, family, and husband, a failed intervention, and the concerns of those who are close to her.

Spears has been in the news countless times since her conservatorship ended. She was targeted for her allegedly abusive relationship with her children, a caffeine addiction, and other forms of bizarre behavior.

The TMZ doc is far from the only one to be released recently.

“With 4 documentaries released about me last year with people I adore speaking about my past!! Unfortunately, the way my past was portrayed in those documentaries was extremely embarrassing. It felt semi-illegal,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.

Britney is attempting to set the record straight by writing her documentary, but its publication has been delayed due to concerns from some of the A-listers mentioned in the book.

Simon & Schuster put the book, which was originally set for a February 2023 release, on hold after receiving letters from two of Britney’s famous exes. There is no word on when it will be published.

The TMZ doc is currently available on Hulu and Fox Entertainment’s streaming platform Tubi.
